Located on the first floor of PVR Plaza Building, H Block, Connaught Place, Caffe Tonino is the perfect place for Sunday Brunch. The ambience of the restaurant instantly puts you in a good mood. Shades of yellow bring a smile to your face and the wooden floors make you feel comfortable and cozy. The staff is welcoming and attentive and the service at the café is very prompt.
Caffe Tonino offers a range of Italian pastas and salads that go with a variety of cocktails available in the drinks menu. For starters, one must try the Antipasti della tradizione con verdure, which is a platter of sundried tomatoes, grilled eggplant, marinated artichokes, tomato mozzarella basil, crackers and some more Italian goodness in small portions. The platter is an excellent choice for 2 and it leaves just the right amount of room for the main course. For lunch I would recommend a Pizza bianca, a thin crust pizza loaded with gorgonzola cheese, mushrooms, thyme, mozzarella and caramelized onions (wasn’t a fan those), along with some Penne Arrabbiata in spicy tomato sauce. End your Italian affair with some Tiramisu, a coffee flavoured Italian dessert that’ll knock your socks off.
Overall, Caffe Tonino is a great place if you’re looking to get away from the crowd in the inner circle of Connaught Place or craving some authentic Italian food.
